Windows Vista Service Pack 2 is finally officially released today and available for public download on Microsoft Download Center as astandalone installer & as an ISO for burning onto a DVD. Its probably the last official service pack to this Windows edition.
Please make sure that your system is running Service Pack 1 before you install Service Pack 2. Download Windows Vista SP1 if you want to try SP2. The size of Vista sp2 installer Windows6.0-KB948465-X86.exe is around 350 MB which includes all components or you can wait until Microsoft pushes the SP2 patch via the Windows Update or Automatic Updates feature as that will only download the essential components.
